The National Maritime Museum has one of the most important maritime historical collections in the world. The collection includes 60,000 books, some over 500 years old.

The books and magazines dating from after 1850 from the collection can be consulted in our library. They are not available for borrowing. Items older than 1850 are stored in the museum depot. Students and researchers can send a request to see objects from the museum collection.

All books in the library of The National Maritime Museum are available in the online catalogue.
